The NIRI San Diego Chapter

The National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) is a professional association of corporate investor relations officers and consultants responsible for communication among corporate management, the investing public and the financial community. The San Diego Chapter of NIRI, with almost 100 members today and growing, represents the majority of the publicly held corporations in San Diego, as well as many emerging companies and related service providers. The mission of the organization is to advance the practice of investor relations and to meet the growing professional development needs of those engaged in the field of Investor Relations. Nationally, NIRI has over 4,300 members in 35 chapters.

Summary:
After an overwhelmingly positive response to our September 2009 program on “dark pools” presented by Liquidnet, NIRI San Diego has invited the firm back for an expanded discussion, this time catered to IROs and CFOs. Liquidnet will provide insight into the changing structure of our capital markets and separate fact from fiction while exploring the growing trend of moving institutional trading away from the central exchanges and the public view on the open market.
